Our conference is dedicated to Joe Hourigan, a long time ASSE member who passed away last year.

Joe was the consummate safety professional who was very active in ASSE. He was a Greater San Jose Chapter Executive Board member as President, President-Elect and Delegate over the years. Joe served on the Monterey PDC committee and helped choose the theme for this conference.

Joe was also selected as the Greater San Jose Chapter “Safety Professional of the Year”.

The theme of our conference is “What’s coming around the corner.” Our intent is to present a conference that will provide our attendees with improved knowledge and skills to meet the safety and health challenges of the future in both the near and long term.
